The “road map” to bettering the pastoral livelihood requires a multi-faceted approach which cannot be achieved by one organization. KLMC has therefore successfully garnered confidence from the stakeholders in the sector so as to achieve its objectives. In the Kenya Chamber of Commerce and Industry(KNCCI), KLMC furthers livestock issues as the chair of the livestock sector committee. When advocating for policy issues the organization do collaborate with various NGOs and bilateral organization of the same interests.

In the spirit of collective approach KLMC is closely working with the government of Kenya through Ministry of Livestock development, County Government, foreign affairs and trade, bilateral organizations, private sectors partners, International NGOs, civil societies, producers and traders of livestock and livestock products.
